Fisayo Alo is an experienced professional with 20 years of expertise in social research, advocacy, development, and project management. He has a proven track record of driving positive change through evidence-based research, policy influence, and community-driven initiatives. His key strengths include designing and conducting research studies to inform policy and practice, developing and implementing advocacy strategies to promote social justice, good governance, and human rights, managing complex projects to ensure timely delivery and achieve desired outcomes, and collaborating with communities to build capacity and empower them through participatory approaches. Fisayo’s experience spans across social research, advocacy, project management/implementation and community development with skills set in research design and methodology, data analysis and interpretation, project planning and management, advocacy, policy influence, community engagement and development, and stakeholders’ management. Fisayo has a master’s degrees in Community Research and Development and Public Administration from the University of Limerick, Ireland and University of Lagos, Nigeria respectively.

He also has a post graduate certificate in Addiction Studies (Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences), post graduate diploma in Agric Extension and Rural Development (University of Agriculture, Nigeria), a diploma in Innovation for Public Transportation (Lund University, Sweden), and a B.Sc. in Microbiology (Obafemi Awolowo University). He is a graduate fellow of the Institute for Development Research and gold recipient of the University of Limerick President Volunteer Award.
